Did you know...?
A staggering 76% of honey in U.S. grocery stores is adulterated or overly processed; either diluted, ultra-filtered, or outright fake
More than 70% of our honey is imported, and about 10% of tested imports are adulterated with undeclared syrups
This flood of cheap, fake honey not only cheats consumers; it undercuts local beekeepers, lowering prices and eroding beekeeping’s economic viability
Real Heroes. Real Honey. Real Impact.
Heroes Honey is more than just honey, it’s a movement powered by purpose.
Born from the national nonprofit Hives for Heroes®, Heroes Honey connects the healing power of beekeeping with the strength and service of our nation’s Veterans and First Responders. Every jar you purchase supports a life-changing mission: to provide connection, purpose, and a healthy transition from service through the art and science of beekeeping.
Our honey is 100% Real, Raw, American, and responsibly sourced from a nationwide network of beekeepers who are Service Members, Veterans, and First Responders that have found healing, growth, and opportunity in working with bees.
What Makes Us Different?
People First: Every purchase supports Heroes on their journey to recovery, resilience, and reintegration.
Real & Local: Our honey is never adulterated or imported. It’s the real deal; bottled straight from hives across the country.
Purpose-Driven: All proceeds support beekeeping education, conservation, and mentorship through Hives for Heroes®.
Sustainable by Nature: Bees sustain our world. We honor that truth by supporting biodiversity and responsible stewardship.
In 2018, what started as one Veteran’s personal path to healing through beekeeping has grown into a national network of over 9,000 members; all connected by the common threads of service, community, and transformation. Heroes Honey is the natural next step; a way to share the sweet results of that journey with you.
Every jar of Heroes Honey is a reminder that healing is possible, that service continues in new forms, and that together, we can build something beautiful, one hive, one Hero, one jar at a time.
